Life’s circumstances brought me to leave Saint Etienne, my native city. Distance, shortened only by a few brief visits, changed my perception of this place. This project intends to represent the city through the daily struggle and testimony of its inhabitants. Through the use of an interactive map and transmedia storytelling, I wanted to produce a citizen’s documentation, a civil perspective on the past, present and future of a once industrial city in the process of reinventing itself.
Taoufik El Mabrouk est un ancien boxeur professionnel. Il met aujourd’hui son savoir au service de la jeunesse en enseignant la boxe éducative.
Maurice Passemard est l’un des membres fondateurs d’un mouvement de résistance durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
